FR >OUT OF THE BLUE est un projet qui se penche sur les identités culturelles diasporiques de différents individus, et des relations que nous entretenons avec l’eau, le maritime, le bleu… OUT OF THE BLUE est un projet de création In Situ qui présente une collection de portraits de performances chorégraphiés par Christophe Béranger et Jonathan Pranlas-Descours. Les portraits sont développés en collaboration intime avec les artistes impliqués, sur la base de leurs histoires personnelles, des récits qu’ils incarnent, et ceux qu’ils affrontent malgré eux. L’archipel chorégraphique se déploie avec un protocole immersif pour le public, alliant redécouverte du lieu, proximité avec la performance et moments inédits unissant les protagonistes.  Le format de présentation de OUT OF THE BLUE # …  dépend du contexte, de l’architecture du site et des identités de la collaboration locale. Il s’agit d’une extension impliquant les  »îlots de créations’’, créé In Situ et engageant les communautés locales dans la performance, allant de la chorale aux jeunes artistes performers qui après plusieurs jours de workshops participent à la performance finale.

OUT OF THE BLUE, à la sortie de cette période inédite, tente de répondre dans une certaine mesure en créant le format en même temps que la forme, en s’appuyant sur le circuit court – le temps court, pour investir des espaces non scéniques en créant des objets de diffusion éphémère. Faire lieu ! Dans un espace où le danseur et le public partagent la même immersion artistique.

OUT OF THE BLUE propose de poursuivre les conversations inter-culturelles, de s’adapter aux incertitudes de notre monde globalisé et de négocier la dimension internationale de nos projets à la lumière de la pandémie et de la crise environnementale.

ENG >‘’ OUT OF THE BLUE is a project that looks at cultural identities diasporas ofdifferent individuals, and the relationships we have with water, sea, blue… OUT OF THE BLUE is a site specific creation which presents a collection of performance portraits choreographed by Christophe Béranger and Jonathan Pranlas-Descours. The portraits are developed in close collaboration with the artists involved, based on their personal stories, the narratives they embody, and those they face in spite of themselves. The choreographic archipelago unfolds with an immersive protocol for the public, combining rediscovery of the place, proximity to the performance and unique moments uniting the protagonists. The presentation format of OUT OF THE BLUE #… depends on the context, site architecture and local collaboration identities: An extension involving the “islands of creations”, created In Situ and involving local communities in the performance, ranging from the senior choir to young performers who after several days of workshops participate in the final performance.

OUT OF THE BLUE, at the end of this unprecedented period, tries to answer to some extent by creating the format at the same time as the form, relying on the short circuit – the short time, to invest non-scenic spaces by creating ephemeral performances objects. Make place! In a space where the dancer and the public share the same artistic immersion.

OUT OF THE BLUE proposes to continue inter-cultural conversations, to adapt to the uncertainties of our globalized world and to negotiate the international dimension of our projects in light of the pandemic and the environmental crisis.

Coproduction et Résidences: OUT OF THE BLUE est un projet qui ne travaille pas les mêmes rapports de coproduction habituels. La production n’a pas de points final vers une première, mais elle évolue et se construit au fur et à mesure des solos qui sont crées en qui viennent enrichir la  »collection ».
