A creation shared with Chinese dancer and choreographer Guo Rui. A performance created for the opening of the La Rochelle Chinese Film Festival. Audiences are invited to take their seats on stage before the screening, and witness a ritualization of the space, a tension of energies that invites participants to reflect on our relationship with the sacred. Each spectator is given a small silver paper cube, a trace of this encounter, of this moment, and is invited to burn it on the way home. An invitation to reflect on the superstitious nature of belief.
