Our Desires - OUR DESIRES # KOREA is the result of an international collaboration between the choreographers of SINEQUANONART and the SIDANCE Festival.

The festival has invited us to create a new version of the piece *NOS DESIRS FONT DESORDRE* with the young and talented dance company SAL—Subverted Anatomical Landscape, with whom this project resonates particularly well.

This project will be presented as the opening event of the SIDANCE festival, as part of the celebrations for the 140th^anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Korea, which began with the signing of the Treaty of Friendship.

Group | SUBVERTED ANATOMICAL LANDSCAPE (SAL)
SAL is a multidisciplinary art collective led by BAE Jin-ho. It creates spatial artworks that explore contemporary themes beyond the realm of dance. Through the metaphor of “SAL” (살, meaning “flesh” or “skin” in Korean), the group dissects unexpected thoughts and physical characteristics through avant-garde movements. Each dancer’s body and psyche shape the choreography, allowing for multiple interpretations. SAL sparks new reflections on identity and the body, aiming to create a shared experience with the audience.
